Merino acquires Premier Bikes

Merino is delighted to announce the successful acquisition of Premier Bikes and Triumph Oxford, a renowned motorbike dealership located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Premier Bikes has established itself as a leading dealer of new Triumph and KTM motorcycles, offering enthusiasts and riders a broad range of high-quality bikes. In addition to new models, the business also specialises in selling used bikes from all major brands, catering to diverse customer preferences.

This acquisition forms part of Merino’s strategy to provide solutions to UK based SMEs. The decision to purchase Premier Bikes comes as the dealership’s long-time owner-manager sought to retire. As part of the transition, Merino appointed a new Managing Director to ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities and to drive the future growth of the business while maintaining its long-standing reputation for excellence.

The new MD brings a wealth of industry experience and a passion for motorbikes, setting the stage for continued success. Merino is confident that Premier Bikes will continue to deliver exceptional service to its customers, building on the strong foundation that has been laid over many years.

Mark Colley, Merino’s Managing Director, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Premier Bikes into the Merino family. Premier Bikes has a fantastic heritage, and we are excited to build on its legacy. With our new leadership in place, I’m confident that we’ll take the business to new heights. We look forward to working with the entire team and bringing fresh opportunities to our loyal customers and the broader motorbike community.”
